Cheryl has always had a drive to help and serving others. With a deep-seated commitment to effecting positive change
in her community, she leads with unwavering dedication at Home Instead, an organization that provides essential and
compassionate services to aging adults. Aligned with Home Instead's mission, Cheryl strives to infuse vitality,
professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset into the communities of Lake and Sumter counties. By delivering
personalized and premium care, Cheryl ensures that families and their loved ones can age gracefully and comfortably
at home.
Beyond her role at Home Instead, Cheryl boasts a stellar track record as a community leader and operations director in
the corporate sphere. Her extensive experience includes tackling intricate challenges and seizing growth opportunities
for the organizations she serves.
Cheryl earned her degree in Political Science and Speech Communication from Willamette University. She actively
contributes to various organizations, serving on the Florida Board of Directors for the Home Instead Association of
Owners and participating in the Education Committee for the Health Care Association of America. Additionally, Cheryl
is a certified Alzheimer's Association Facilitator and a Parkinson's Support Group Lead and Mentor. Her involvement
extends to the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of South Lake, The Neighborhood
Center Board, and the Girl Scouts of the USA, where she has been recognized with the Volunteer of Excellence and
Outstanding Troop Leader Awards.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Cheryl cherishes time spent with her husband, Jim, and their two grown
children, Miranda and Jimmy. They share a passion for travel, skiing, and embracing life's adventures together.
