Shauna Vaughan is the founder of Presence Without Permission, a one-on-one advocacy strategy practice built for professionals, patients, and caregivers navigating power dynamics in high-stakes conversations. With more than 20 years of experience as a performance consultant working inside and alongside Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, she has spent her career in rooms where the pressure to defer was high and the cost of silence was higher. That experience, combined with what she learned navigating the healthcare system during her husband's cancer diagnosis, became the foundation for a practice that helps people show up prepared, ask the questions that need asking, and participate in decisions that affect them.
